The “Link Together” collection represents the strength we gain by coming together and supporting each other.  Each component stands alone, but once linked together, becomes a strand of unified beauty.  Understanding and respecting the differences and similarities of different races, religions, and cultures is the only way we can move forward to equality,  which is something Meagan felt important to highlight through this statement piece, especially during the current times.  

In high school Meagan attended an introspective program called Camp CommUNITY, presented by the Multicultural Alliance. The goal of this camp is to educate youth participants on how to be social change advocates through providing a heightened awareness of the struggles many minority groups face.  During this camp, students of different backgrounds come together to share firsthand their experiences and allow for conversation to explore and learn ways they can make an impact.

*A portion of the proceeds from the “Link Together” collection will go to the Multicultural Alliance to assist scholarship funds for their program, Camp CommUNITY. The organization promotes understanding and respect among all races, religions, and cultures through advocacy, conflict resolution, and education.
